1. The Men are just too good. That’s why Open Your Heart is our #4 Album of the Year (So Far). We also attended Pitchfork Music Fest, and wrote about it.

  2. One day, we will be as cool a KEXP. Until then, there’s still KEXP. Here’s their multi-camera, professional audio recording of The Men’s full set at Mellow Johnny’s. So good.

  4. The Men at SXSW, Wednesday night for the Sacred Bones showcase. This was undoubtedly my favorite show of the weekend. They killed it, blew my mind and eardrums to pieces. If you haven’t heard Open Your Heart or Leave Home yet, do yourself a fucking favor.

  6. The Men - Animal

While it’s an extremely lame thing to say, we must admit that punk’s not dead. Brooklyn hardcore meets pub rock band The Men released Open Your Heart yesterday, and god damn is it good. Ever wonder what a Pavement influenced Minor Threat album would sound like? Wonder no more.

  7. Now here’s a dope SXSW party.  A$AP Rocky, Cloud Nothings, The Men, Lower Dens, Titus Andronicus…the list goes on and on.  Click the photo to RSVP.
